Geraldine's new work is a response to the glaciers in the Chamonix area. She captures the chaotic mix of seracs and crevasses which are forever moving and shrinking. Light plays its part - different times of the day and seasons, fleeting colour apparent on the ice and rocks. She presents snapshots of magnificence and vulnerability, where the eye is transfixed with the enormity and the detail of these cathedrals and towering giants.
