Geraldine spends her time between the Lake District in England and the Chamonix valley in France - carrying her sketchbook on runs, ski touring and mountaineering trips.

 

Seventeen years of being captivated by wild spaces and immersed in its landscape, has enabled Geraldine to study the familiar through her multidisciplinary approach to painting and experimental printmaking.

 

This crossover of disciplines from drawing to painting to printing is at the heart of Geraldine’s practice, each feeding the other to push new boundaries and create very personal responses to wide ranging themes, from wild gardens to wild glaciers.
